Tata Tigor EV Now Available On Rent With Zoomcar

Tata Motors has announced their collaboration with self-drive rental platform Zoomcar. Under the collaboration, Tata Motors will deploy Tigor EV’s (Electric Vehicles) in the Pune region. The first batch of cars was flagged off by Greg Moran, Co-founder and CEO, Zoomcars and Shailesh Chandra, President, Electric Mobility Business & Corporate Strategy, Tata Motors at the Concorde Motors showroom located in Baner.

A few reports suggest that Tata Motors plans to provide about 500 units of the Tigor EV to Zoomcar across 20 cities, thus enabling a larger number of people to rent them out. The Tata Tigor EV is based on the standard Tigor and sources power from an AC 3-Phase electric motor. This 216 Ah, 72V battery produces 40 hp at 4,500 rpm. The vehicle claims to return a range of 130 km on a full charge and has a top speed of 100kmph.
